WE NEED HELP!

We have spent $8000 on attorney fees to try to protect our son from his own father.  We have also spent $1350 for professional testimony on Jaerrid's problems by his counselor as well as at least $500 for court transcripts.  That is a total of $9850 for court purposes to try and prove that Jaerrid is in danger with his father.  This doesn't even include the appeal charges which we have already paid $2500 for.

We are now in debt not only because of that but because Jaerrid is expensive with the things he needs to eat and the things we have to buy to support his medication and therapies.

Please donate to Jaerrid's fund so we can appeal the courts decision and again protect him from a monster who wants to do nothing to take care of him.

Feeding a kid food they are allergic to is the same as physical abuse. 

Not providing needed mental medication is the same as physical abuse.

How much do you spend on coffee everyday?

We are not asking for much, maybe even just 1 day of going without coffee.  Just think if many people did that for him, he could finally be SAFE!

We have been going to court over his father's alcohol use for 4 years now.  He was court ordered many times not to use alcohol before or during his visit with Jaerrid.  In March of 2006, he brought Jaerrid home from a 2 night a week visitation.  It was 7:30am and he had to drive 30 minutes to bring Jaerrid to us.  When he got here with the kid he wreaked of alcohol and, as allowed by the court, I asked him for a breathalyzer.  After he decided to run home 30 minutes away without providing it, we went to his hometown and fought with the local PD to get them to test him.  Finally he screwed up and offered a breathalyzer to the police.  At 8:30am that morning his BAC was .06.  This means that at 7am when he got into the car with a special needs child he was legally intoxicated at .09BAC. 

He has been dragging us back and forth to court ever since, manipulating, lying and conning his way to more and more visitation.  Unfortunately, we had a judge that believed his every word regardless of the police reports and testimony of people about his character.  He also has had at least 3 dui's in the past.  Not to mention that he attacked my husband in front of the kids in our home 1 year prior. 

During the final hearing in December 2007 the judge turned a blind eye to all of the evidence against him and went ahead and gave him over night visitations from 45 minute supervised visitations.  Jaerrid is now wetting the bed, having multiple meltdowns everyday and talking about how bad his dad is because he gives him things he is allergic to.  Remember the father doesn't believe there is anything wrong with Jaerrid so he feeds him food he can't have and as far as we know he doesn't give him his medication.  Jaerrid doesn't even have his own bed to sleep in at his house. 

Jaerrid's special needs have been diagnosed by multiple doctors and his allergies by 2 scratch tests performed by a allergist.
